Outdoor Training UK > Fire Safety Courses

This is an HSE approved, half-day Fire Safety training course designed for all levels of staff who have fire safety responsibilities and who may need to safely operate fire extinguishers. Upon successful completion of this course an attendance certificate will be awarded. This certificate is approved by the Institute of Fire Engineers.

On completion of this training session, delegates will have a clear understanding of fire safety in the context of their workplace. All delegates receive a comprehensive course handbook.

• Chemistry of fire and how fire spreads
• Common causes of fire
• Safety features within buildings
• Action on discovering a fire
• Calling the Fire Service
• Hazard spotting / hazard reduction

• Daily and Weekly Fire Checks
• Record Keeping
• Fire extinguishers: Practice and theory
